Orbital Fasteners

99.74% sales increase over two years

We built a brand new e-commerce site for Orbital Fasteners in [YEAR]; within two years, the company’s online sales had almost doubled. Orbital was the first client that benefited from our full NEON Commerce system, from design and development to SEO, build and hosting. We continue to manage and maintain the site and have now added a range of further services including AdWords and Google Shopping.

Edwardes Bros

691% revenue increase over two years

At electrical wholesaler Edwardes Bros, inaccurate stock control was causing customer frustration and losing the company orders. Using our NEON Commerce system, we integrated the company’s back office software with its online store to provide real-time prices and ordering. That ensured a smooth customer journey; we then worked with the company to provide targeted online marketing that meant sales soared – with a 691% revenue increase over two years.

reduced delivery from 2-3 weeks to 1-2 days

Powerflex was struggling to cope with demand for its performance suspension bushes, with many orders taking 2-3 weeks to be shipped. Its B2B customers were unhappy having to wait so long. We built a comprehensive system, from ordering through to stock control, that is helping the company get ahead with orders and improve its supply management as well as integrating with its finance software. Now Powerflex is able to send out the majority of orders within 1-2 days.

Resolving issues with a responsive design

At online fashion and lifestyle retailer Plumo, business was good – but the team knew it could be better. Its site wasn’t as reliable as it should be and not as stylish as it should be. Following a recommendation from another of our clients, we were appointed to address both the design and dependability. We began with some quick fixes to make the site more stable and better able to cope with high volumes. We then led a complete overhaul, introducing a responsive design for mobile and tablet use. Since then, we’ve continued to add new features and bug fixes to take the site to the next level.

Developing the interface for wholesale software

EDP – recently acquired by Kerridge Commercial Systems – provides specialist software for merchants, wholesalers and distributors. However, it recognised that one of its core solutions had been overtaken by competitors and needed updating. We took on the challenge of developing a new user-friendly and attractive front-end interface for the developer, ensuring it integrated with a host of back-office systems to manage accounts, supply chain and logistics. Using a range of development technologies including Laravel, Postgres and Elasticsearch, NEON designed the next generation solution.

At NEON Commerce, we’ve been designing, building and managing online stores and e-commerce sites for over 20 years.

With skills in all aspects of e-commerce, from initial design to SEO, payment processing, ongoing maintenance and comprehensive analytics, we shape stores and commerce platforms to meet your needs and increase sales from your customers.

Most of our sites are built on GetCandy, an open source commerce platform that we created.

Based in Maldon in Essex, NEON Commerce offers a flexible approach that means you can work with us to design a new commerce platform or improve footfall and conversion on your existing e-commerce site.

We relish the challenge of turning complex commercial requirements into easy-to-use sites, designed with a full understanding of your end users and their goals. Our rigorous approach and commitment to quality has helped us build long-term relationships with clients in both B2B and B2C.
